Good afternoon, everyone!
Today, I am keeping the post as clean and simple as the card!
Enjoy!
Materials: Mama Elephant alphabet dies; Papertrey Ink Grand Ampersand die (embossed) and stamp set; vellum; white cardstock; washi!
This is headed over to CASology’s current challenge:
How’s that for short and sweet? Ahh, I think I have another idea for a card…
wow, check out all those wonderful layers!
Great layers and I love the depression on the card for the ampersand.
Thanks, Ngan!! Did you guys get snow in San Fran? I overheard someone today saying SF did! Hope you are well!
Hi Kate! Congrats on the CASology HM! This card is so creative. I love all the cards you made for the “AND” challenge.
No snow here, though we had lots of rain over the weekend. It’s sunny now, which is bad news for our reservoirs!
BTW, I started the other blog because I saw a lot of people had that platform for cards and it is actually super easy to use and respond to users through my email address. Also, I wanted to try to enter more challenges to exercise my creativity and actually make myself make time for what I like to do: making cards. The other platform is more low-key and less stressful to manage for me, and I am enjoying it. I will have to learn about this bloglovin’ thing you mentioned to me!
Thanks so much for the input and hope you are well, too!
Amazing cleverness! When I first saw the thick I thought it was felt. This is a LOT of layers!
Thanks, Toni! Love checking out your blog & work! Are you in Seattle?
Well, if this card doesn’t exemplify “thick and thin,” I don’t know what does! Great layers and colors, great CAS design! Thanks again for playing along at CASology!
Thanks, Judy for all your supportive comments and for choosing this card as an honorable mention this week!
Fabulous! Your card jumped right out of the thumbnails at the CASology challenge!
Thanks, Jacquie! Was just by your site the other day and loving what I saw! xo
This is so much fun! Love the contrast you’ve created and the fun rainbow letters! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
Thanks, Jen, for your kind comments on this and my groundhog card!! Appreciate you taking the time to check out my work!
Lovely, again your entries are gorgeous and so CAS!!! Great job!!!
Thanks, Kim! And YES– I cannot wait to take part in the next PNW crafters get-together!! I was so bummed that I had to miss the one on Saturday. The next time I will be there! xo
Congratulations on your HM at CASology, Kate with this fun and clever rainbow lettered card! Anita 🙂
Anita! Thanks! It was your comment this morning via email that brought the HM to my attention! Didn’t have time to check it all out until this evening! So psyched! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and drop a line! Loving what I am seeing of your Anniversary PTI challenge work!! xo
You are TOO much. Katie!! Congratulations on the honor of an HM from CASology! I think you should have won for each one!! Hugs, Darnell
You are too sweet!! Thanks, Darnell! I appreciate your kind comments– I really had fun with this challenge– I guess being a wordsmith and all it was fun to work from a word rather than a visual concept! I must get over to your site– it’s been a few days! Hope you are well!! xo
Congrats on your HM at CASology!!
Thanks, lady!
